From the Three Loves to Codependency. Clown Course

Description

This work explores the deconstruction of the individual and collective concept of love, based on the theory of Master Claudio Naranjo: 3 Centers – 3 Loves. This theory presents a tripartite vision of the human being, divided into three main centers: the Mental or Higher Center, the Emotional or Middle Center, and the Lower or Instinctive Center.

Each center has specific characteristics, performs certain functions, and is specialized in a particular type of love: Paternal or Admiring Love in the Higher Center, Maternal or Compassionate Love in the Middle Center, and Filial or Instinctive Love in the Lower Center.

Starting from this understanding, and with gratitude to the Masters, we will embark on a journey to explore these aspects of being, using the language of clowning as a balm to de-dramatize, allowing us to laugh at ourselves, discover our difficulties and potential in relation to love, and ultimately become aware of our place in this three-headed dimension of UNIVERSAL LOVE.

To conclude, we will playfully explore codependency: the relational problems that arise in loving interactions with another human being when, due to a lack of awareness, we relate from our childhood wounds.

This leads to toxic relationships that hinder our creativity in life. The Purpose: To blossom into our gifts. This experiential journey toward our purpose is designed to explore personal, familial, and social mechanisms that interfere with our flourishing, always seasoned with the de-dramatizing power of clowning and the compassionate embrace of the group.

Do you feel your life has meaning? Do you have goals you never seem to achieve, that always elude you, as if something were preventing you? Would you love to do something but can’t seem to manage it? Do you find it difficult to focus and move towards what you want?

We will explore life cycles, based on the universal cyclical energy movement described in the I Ching, The Book of Changes. According to this, in the Cycle of Nutrition, we can study the different stages and difficulties that human beings go through on their journey to flourish: developing their gifts and putting them to use.

In this way, the cycle of nutrition unfolds as an infinite spiral where we refine and develop ourselves, from Hexagram 51, Chen: The Upheaval—the moments when you feel lost and directionless—to Hexagram 50, Ting: The Cauldron—the slow cooking of our gifts to manifest our being in life and thus find meaning in this earthly reality.
