Sensory Awareness I: How Do I Eat? An Exploration of the Sense of Taste for Living
We will begin with the approach of Trauma theories, framing the work within the sensory deprivation we have all experienced during the pandemic. From there, we will open ourselves to the sensory exploration of the Sense of Taste for Living.
We will playfully explore the intake of food, energy, introjects, people… in order to de-dramatize our existence and create a space to see ourselves in our modus operandi in relation to the diverse ways we nourish ourselves.
We will draw on concepts from Traditional Chinese Medicine, EMDR, and the silliness/madness and vulnerability of Clown with Gestalt aromas.
