The Jester
The Jester is the awkward comedian, that deformed, ugly, horrifying being, almost beyond the human spectrum, belonging to the suburbs/catacombs of society. And for that reason, he is the only one who can afford the expressive freedom of irreverence before the King. Of course, always at the risk of having his head cut off.
Strength and Creativity
It invites us to recover our satirical capacity to denounce, demand, and prick; reclaiming our right to exist as deformed, free, and joyful animals.
WE USE
To reclaim our creative rage as a force for transformation and belonging. Seeking to become aware of our struggle with the duality of tenderness/aggression.
The Jester
Permission to reclaim our instinctive energies related to our own aggression, to our immense animalistic/childlike creativity castrated by the dominant patriarchal socio-family system, to find a new belonging for our deformed, excluded, and vilified parts.
